Default French Cookbook Search

Hi,

I learned about this site when I did a google search for some out-of-print cookbooks written in french. Although I have a large collection of french cookbooks, now that I spend several months a year in my home in the Loire Valley, I am particularly interested in finding books focused on food of that region. If you know where I might find books written by either Sylvie Girard or Maedleine Beaumord or published by Lafont, I hope you will contact me. Of course, if you know of other books about the food of the Loire, I would appreciate hearing about those too.

A bientot!

Bienvenue, Varenne! We're glad your search brought you to Chef Talk. We are food-lovers (both professionals and home cooks) from all over the globe. We hope you enjoy being part of the commuity.

I encourage you to post your cookbook request in the Cookbook Reviews forum, as it's the best one for getting the attention of members who may be able to aid you in your quest.

The Loire valley is lovely, as I learned when I visited there some years ago. The manmade and natural scenery are balm for the soul. And the food- it's wonderful!

Regards,
Mezzaluna

Dear Mezzaluna,

Having said I would repost, I realize I can't figure out how to do that! Apologies! I went to 'Cookbook Reviews', but saw only the reviews; I couldn't figure out how to do a posting. HELP!

Many thanks,
Varennes
