Default My name is Bryan. I like to cook...

I think the title sums it up pretty well. I have been cooking and examining food as long ever since I was five. I tried to make pancakes for my parents before they got out of bed. Yeah, they were made from play-doh, and yeah I got a nasty burn on my hand (pans get hot when the fire's on. Who knew?), but at that moment I fell in love with cooking. It was a love/hate thing for a good number of years, when I did construction and desk jobs, but I went bak to the line when I was 21 and haven't looked back. Now I'm in Chicago working at a crappy bar, trying to start my own business, and attending school at CHIC-Le Cordon Bleu. I hope to learn as much as I can from the pros here, and I want to help the hobbyist cooks as much as I can as well.

To the staff:
Thanks for this online community. If used correctly, which I believe it is, this can be an extremely valuable resource to the culinary world.

Bryan
