Hello to all,

I love food, preferably fresh from the garden. That is why I have been involved with the only community garden in Fort Smith (for now). When I was growing up, I was the one who made all of the pies (and, yes, I made my crust from scratch) and the cornbread. Seems like I have been cooking forever. I grow all sorts of vegetables and herbs and do a lot of freezing and canning during the summer. I hope to start other community gardens in Fort Smith in the near future. Working on getting additional property as we speak. Thanks for your forum.

Greetings, meggardenmama, and welcome to the Chef Talk community. I think you'll enjoy exploring and participating in the Chef's Garden forum and others as well. I'll bet there'll be a need for help and expertise among members this summer as they bring in their garden crops, so I hope you stop in as often as you can (no pun intended ).
