New Foodie on the Block Greetings to all
I too am a lover of food. Foodie is what we are called these days. My thing with food started very young (3) with Mom putting me on a stepping stool to break lettuce for the nightly salads then graduating to dressing the salad before actually cutting. So as I remember, every time walking into my Grandmothers , my Noni, house I went directly to the oven and asked as many questions as I could. I wanted to make food the way she did - exactly. She never gave me any amounts with recipes just the ingrediants. She said "You figure it out - I did!" I think I did.
I am not professionally trained, I have much experience in different areas of the industry and have a real sweet job now sole kitchen personnel of an art gallery wine bar serving Italian antipasti with other foods. Making it look great as well as taste is what keeps me going. I Love It.
