That's cool that you've been to Bethel's campus! It really is a great campus, especially for being so close to the city.

Hello Colleen,
Congratulations on your wedding. I wanted to give you some Greek recipe ideas that are sure to please. I lived in Athens for a year and learned some Greek...yassou!!
Moussaka is a great lamb/eggplant casserole and tzadziki is a cucumber/yogurt dip you can make. Check out About.com they have great cultural sites with traditional recipes.

Chef to be,
Bufano

Bufano, thanks so much for your recipe idea! Moussaka is actually my favorite Greek dish. I am more familiar now with names and tastes of Greek foods, it's just trying to cook them that will be the challenge!

Hi Colleen,

I don't know if you remember - I met you a couple of months ago when you gave your testimony at the Women's Business Lunch...?

I noticed you said this:

Quote:
My husband and I went to the Greek island for our honeymoon. We often dream about moving to some remote place or small town to enjoy the simple way of life, and escape this busy, materialistic society.
I've never been to Greece - sounds neat - but I pray that somehow life will change and so the simpler life can come back to us...it might just be a dream but I do pray for it

I'm not a chef, not married to one but...well I like food!!

I hope that in your marriage and life in general you are finding a joy which is strong enough to overcome not quitebeing in that place of your dreams (yet ).

Marriage is pretty special, isn't it? Hard at times maybe, but...very special.
