Hi,

My name is Warren Green and I live in South Africa. After leaving school in 1992 I worked in restaurants, after having a child I decided to leave the industry in 1999 and join the corporate world
(IT). What a mistake, I have now realized that my true calling was to stay in the food game. I have always loved cooking and preparing food, It is on my mind 24/7. I am now thinking about leaving the corporate world and starting my own catering business.

It's amazing how many of our members have been in IT, then switched to cooking; or were cooking and moved to IT. I'm sure there's knowledge to be mined from conducting a study!

What do you most enjoy about the culinary life? Are there cuisines, ingredients or techniques you especially like?
