Default Hello from Arizona

Hi all, new member from Prescott Valley, AZ. I am not a professional chef(or even close, really) , although I did live with one in Colorado for a number of years, so I guess he rubbed-off on me. I do very much enjoy cooking, and my skill level I would catagorize as kind of middlin'. Not an expert, but I know how to hold a knife and am willing to tinker. Anyway, greetings to all, I am looking forward to good conversation as well as trading recipes/info. MacGregor

Welcome to Chef Talk, Mac! I'm a home cook too, and I can tell you this is the best place I've found to learn and to share. We hope you soon realize that you have knowledge and experience to share as you soak up new ideas from others.

What are your fondest cunlinary interests? Did you learn as a child from family cooks?

Have a look around at the cooking articles, cookbook reviews, recipes, blogs.... well, there's a lot here! The search tool can help you find things more efficiently. We hope you participate here as often as you can.

Welcome!
Mezzaluna

Welcome. I'm not too far, Lake Havasu City. Been through Prescott a couple times to get to Jerome. I liked it. We bought our wedding cake topper in a shop on Whiskey Row. Enjoy your stay.
