Welcome to Chef Talk! I read in your profile that you enjoy interacting with people from different cultures. You can do that here 24/7 while sharing your own culinary (and other) knowledge.

Have a look around the site- don't miss the cooking articles, blogs, photos and many other great features here, as well as the forums. With 10 years of conversations here, it's a good thing we have a search feature, too.

What are your favorite things to cook? Are there family traditions or regional ingredients you particularly like to use?

We hope you visit and participate often. Enjoy!

Hello everyone,

I live in Texas and I work as a line cook part time. I go to school full time but I love being in the kitchen. I know it is hard work and it takes a love or a passion to be in the restaurant business. Just wanted to say hi and I am looking forward to being on this chef forum.
