Hi everybody--I've lurked around a little bit, enjoyed reading everybody's posts, and decided it was time to join. So here I am!

What are your favorite ingredients to work with? How did you get into baking and the culinary world? Your profile says you're in the southern U.S.- are there regional dishes you like to make?

Thanks for the welcome, Mezzaluna!

This is a great time to live in the South. Our selection of locally-grown produce is just amazing right now. Currently, I am obsessed with peaches. Peach pie, peach cobbler, and my new special favorite, peach bread pudding.

Oooh... peach bread pudding! Is that a family recipe or one you worked out yourself? With the bounty of fresh produce in your region now, maybe there are some tasty versions of your own you'd be willing to share with us. If so, the Recipes forum is the place.

I seem to remember a discussion thread about bread pudding from a while ago... You can do a search; here's just one thread among many:
