New fella from Dallas. I stumbled onto this site searching in goog's for an enchilada recipe. I looked around a little bit and quickly figured out that this place is filled with expert knowledge.

I am basically a home cook that cooks for myself and myself alone. Though that does not stop me from cooking whatever I feel like eating. Case in Point, last Thanksgiving I cooked an entire meal for myself, smoked whole ham, turkey, etc... I absolutely love it.

I also love to BBQ. I own a few cookers and winter never slows me down.

Hopefully I can learn quite a bit from this forum.

There's plenty here for someone with your interests (BBQ, trying new recipes, etc.). While the professional forums are "read only" for home cooks like you and me, you're welcome to read and learn. Fortunately we have a search tool as well.
