Default Hey all, from Philly

I'm Dave, and I'm a culinary student from Philadelphia. I attend The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, (I'm a freshman). I love it there so far, and I'm majoring in baking/pastry arts.

Hi, Dave. Welcome to ChefTalk. I live just south of Philly and make my way up there fairly often. What a great place to explore for some amazing culinary finds. If you haven't already done so, be sure to check out the Reading Terminal Market, the Italian Market and the various oriental markets that dot the city.
There are many culinary students in the forums that can probably lend some guidance as you being your schooling.
Again, welcome to ChefTalk!

Hi IlluminatedChef and welcome. This is a great site, lots of fun. My father's from Moorestown NJ, near you, and I've lived there.

I've been to Reading Terminal Market, and love it! I'm going to go there a lot more often now that I'll be spending 95% of my time in Philly.
