Hey Tom! Welcome to a great community of pros and amateurs.

While I speak only for myself, my advice to you can be had in two words: Merry Maids! I usually get stuck with the kitchen messes, but as for the rest.... I trust my dust to MM!

Besides housecleaning (or avoiding it), what keeps you busy?

Some of my hobbies are renovating my house, gardening, kayaking, and playing pool and chess.
