Looks too small and deep red to be salmon. I remember them being more orange, and larger. Maybe a different species of salmon here.

No, your right, the one I just looked at here in the fridge is larger than what is in this pic. This was plated last year, hard to remember what was on hand that day. When I find the match I will post it here. Caviar, you either love it or hate it.....
