This was a dish I had made a few years ago in a dessert class, I made it by coring the apple then slicing it. I then put cinnamon sugar on the apples and roasted them in the oven with some apple cider on the bottom of the pan to prevent burning. The nuts are just candied and a simple caramel cream sauce is on the bottom.

If I could vote for more than one, I'd also vote for Roasted Apple, because I love the angles and rings... it looks like a solar system!
