User Reviews: All-Clad Stainless 9-Inch French Skillet
Cons: none
I have used this skillet for a very long time and have cooked almost everything on it. Like the previous reviewer its not mean to be used to large amounts of food but used correctly in the right amounts of meats or sauces. I use this pan the most when I cook specialty foods because when it comes down to my catering career, consistency is key.
Cleans very easy and fast too.
Highly recommend this for the pro who wants a standard pan in their kitchen.

Cons: None I've found
This is a great, lightweight skillet for cooking just about anything. It's just about perfect for cooking for 1-3 people, 4 in a pinch. I don't have a lot of different pans, so I use it for everything from sauces to pan-fried steaks with solid results.
When I'm done, it's easy to clean. The polished exterior steel is easy to scrub, and the interior has a little bit of carbonization on the sides now, but the bottom is easy to keep spotless. All-Clad says it can go through the dishwasher, too, although I'd think that doing that might pit the steel a little in the long run.
Mine came with a lid, which is also useful for doing some quick steaming or keeping heat in to speed up cooking - a little nicer-looking that the sheet of aluminum foil I've used on other frying pans.
I just wish I'd bought this pan 10 years ago.
