Pros: Powerful, easy to use, affordable.
Cons: Bands around the pitcher are hard to clean under.
When I came across this blender I wasn't really looking for one. I had one at home that "worked" but the bottom was melted from a former roommate that left it on the stove and turned on the wrong burner so it had to be propped up and held to use. Dangerous, I know so I picked up this blender at big lots for a song and so far it's been a trooper with all the punishment I've put it through. I came with a food processor head which works rather well. The knob on the front allows you to place it solidly in the on, off, and pulse position which I like, it prevents accidental button bumping and a led blinks letting you know it's in an on position. The 3 buttons above the knob are for high, low, and power boost ice crush. These allow instant on/off power control with a tap.
My primary complaint are the metal bands that go around and hold the handle to the pitcher, food/liquid that runs down the front after pouring if not caught immediately gets trapped in there, forever. You have to tear the handle apart to get in there, pain in the but for some crusty crud. The pitcher's spout is also in a weird area, they put it on the wide portion of the nearly square pitcher not on the corner for some odd reason. So it'll make a wide sheet that will spill over come the edges of a cup if you pour too fast.
Other than that it's be reliable and I so far haven't come across something it couldn't chew up.
