Hi I went to the Ferrandi pastry-course last June. The course was exceptionally expensive and it was a real disappointment.
The teacher spoke poor English and maybe because of this there was not a moment in the course with theory or where he explained anything. The whole course was about him to show off in the final day with his chocolate sculpture and the cake buffet and we were just his little assistants to bring this o that. The main goal was not focused on our learning process or teach us as it should have been. Even the book we received with recipes were not correct and we never got a correct version not even the last day.
The cakes and cookies were nothing special...all based on artificial flavors and colorings, i don't really find it professional to work in this way it feels fake. Since 95% of the students were Asians where in their culture is not appropriate to complain or demand. I find that a reason why they're not more bad reviews about this course or the school.
I hope I can help someone to better invest their money, I don't recommend this school to anyone
