Pros: Can be sanitized, dishwasher safe, light
I love my end grain boards at home. Sometimes the kitchen you're in has rules about sanitizing. These are much easier to clean. You see them in lots of sushi bars because they're okay on the edges of high end knives. They can be sanitized and even thrown in the dishwasher, no chance of warping or cracking. If they do get cut into and scratched up (takes a while), you can sand it down a little.
If I'm doing BBQ catering or a dinner party at someone else's house, I'll pack this in the car just in case I don't like their cutting board (probably don't). It's a lot easier than moving the big heavy end grain block I have.
