Great free e-book baking cookbook
Pros: Free, easy to read, great directions, lots of explanation
Cons: Only available in digital format, not a ton of pictures
I originally downloaded this book because it was free and I was having some issues getting my muffins and cakes to rise since I moved to the high desert region of the Western US. I kept the book because of the great amount of information I found and some of the tips and tricks of the trade. This is not a beautiful book you can put on display in your house but it is one that you'll find yourself sharing with friends and family and using time and time again. And, like I said, it's free.
