Italian Chef Academy - Rome Reviews
I really had an incredible experience. Convinced by my girlfriend, (she was getting tired to be my 'personal' chef) I dived myself into this, absolute new for me, world, and I can tell you that now I manage to prepare an incredible pizza napoletana, all kind of pasta with difference sauces, and my favorite dish: risotto con funghi porcini). the academy offers the apprenticeship, in partner restaurants, most of them located in the historical centre of Rome......Really not easy to find other schools that offer this opportunity at quite accessible prices. p.s. have you ever tasted mullet and fois gras,,,,well this is something you may be cooking during the course......
Pros: wonderful location, brand new technologies, close number of students in the kitchen, brilliant chefs, well served by public transport
I had a wonderful experience. Classes are very interesting. They cover all subjects, and chefs are always happy to answer questions and they follow you very closely. Working in a small group, 8 people maximum, with all modern technologies, gives you the possibility to learn in an appropriate way. Highlights: Finger food, home made pasta, bread baking, ice cream, low temperature cooking (vacuum) International cuisine with Chef of MIchelin Stars Restaurants

The list of teachers saying almost after each name "1,2 Michelin star chef" in school only one chef with Michielin star makes one lesson for students who payed the most expensive module of education which also wasn't mentioned. 2.The partners of the school mentioned at the website again far from reality,it was one of the key point why I choose this school, cause you promised internship in...(read more)
Pros: Great locale, emphasis on Italian food
Cons: Borderline scam
Avoid at all costs. They make written promises to candidates, then back out once they've gotten your money. The stage contracts are not being respected. In addition, the courses are way too short to properly equip you for a professional kitchen. Save your money and enroll in one of the big name schools instead, this isn't worth it.
I have been a student of this school. I paid the training package more expensive. I have only sold smoke, words and stories. Choose another school. Here the chefs are good, but the lessons are poor. The course material is scarce and wrong. Time is short, the English lessons are shameful. Choose another school. Please!
