Pros: Solid construction, very sturdy
Cons: Must be careful not to drop!
The underside of the lid has the self basting spikes which is nice but often I did not feel like I needed them. Many times when I am doing a braise I cover the pot with parchment paper and then put the lid on so the spikes don't matter. It would be great if you had a choice on the lid type (spikes or not). Definitely not a deal breaker just a nice to have.
Great pot to have in your kitchen.
