In the early 1920s, Tulsa was known as the "Oil Capital of the World," and people flocked to Tulsa by the thousands, lured by the hope of striking it rich with oil. These ambitious families brought their various traditions, legacies, and dreams, creating a culinary melting pot. Tulsa may no longer be the "Oil Capital of the World," but in Oil & Vinegar we still celebrate its diverse culture and cuisine with stories about its history and a collection of recipes that are sure to help you strike it rich in your own kitchen. Oil & Vinegar contains over 250 recipes, which were selected from over 2,000 submissions. The beautiful cover art is by Otto Duecker, a nationally recognized artist who resides in Tulsa.
