Pros: Very beautiful piece of cookware
Cons: enamel "stick" coating; enamel cracking after first use
I had been "eyeing" the Paula Dean Cookware for sometime and yesterday I bought the stock pot specifically for spaghetti sauce. I'm 53 years old so I'm not new to using enamel cookware but the sauce burned and stuck to the bottom of the pan even though I cook the sauce on very low heat and stir very frequently. Not only did the sauce burn on the bottom but the enamel popped and cracked after removing it from the heat and the enamel chipped off of a large area of the bottom of the pan. I will be returning the pot tomorrow.
