Pros: Versatile, easy to clean, inexpensive. BUT I bought it for 34 bucks. Why 89 bucks now?
Cons: It could cook more evenly, I suppose, but it's very good for a lot of things
I bought this as an experiment and I am very happy with it. As I have tried it for cooking more things, it has exceeded my expectations.
I can sautee at a high or low temperature, I can simmer sauces very well, I can leave things alone to cook that I normally would have to pay a lot more attention to. It is great for fried chicken. It is great for carmelizing onions while you are off doing other things.
I tried it for cooking pita breads when I was being lazy. I didn't think it would do very well, but it did a great job.
There is a noticeable circle above its heating element that gets a little hotter than the rest of the pan. When I noticed that I thought it might be an issue, but so far it never has been. Nothing has ever stuck and I haven't had any problems with uneven cooking.
I'm not sure about the durability because I haven't used it that long. So far it's held up as new.
Look for a price near 34 bucks. Not 89.
