Pros: Non-stick, non PTFE (Teflon), easy to clean, heavy duty construction, reasonable pricing
Cons: Temperature limit on handle for oven use
This appears to be the identical product that we've bought here in Canada under the brand name Of Greblon Cool Kitchen Green Cusine.
We've been so pleased with this fry pan that we now have two sizes of it, and it works really well.
It's safe since there's no risk of PTFE in you diet (the cheapie pans always end up peeling and that has to be going some where!), and then they do not work very well at all. A ceramic coating will perform well and last a long time provided that you do not over heat it and these pans are very sturdy and well made but should never be used on high heat, nor should they be heated dry.
I always use a little bit of olive oil in them and then follow the manufacturer's instructions which is to use them only at low to medium heat--you don't need a high heat, nor do you want to do that.
If you want to sear a steak--use a different pan, that's not what these are made for!
The Greblon name is under a description of Weilburger - Germany, which I suspect is where they were originally created, however, like most things today I imagine they are made in China as the label says:
Made in P.R.C. which to me would mean People's Republic of China
