Edge grain maple cutting board from the Boardsmith

Posted

Pros: High quality construction with feet and beveled edges. Nice arrangement of the edge grain.

Cons: None really other than its bulk. But so what.

This is my first high class cutting board and my blades seem to stay sharp longer.  Other than that I just don't know how to review the board.  There are neither voids nor knots in the wood.  It's overall beauty will provide a nice accent to your kitchen especially if the board is oiled with "board butter", a mixture of mineral oil and beeswax.  The Boardsmith carries the product or you can make your own to apply.
