Pros: Good weight and good feel
Cons: expensive and German steel
This knife has a great ergonomic feel and moderate weight. I use this 6 days a week for maybe over 2 hours each day. I sharpen it about 2 to 3 times a day and it keeps a great blade. Wusthof knives have the finest German steel on the market - that I'm aware of. I suggest this knife for anyone who doesn't mind sharpening their knives frequently, and wants a good weight and solid feel. If you just want a sharp blade, go Japanese. I bought this knife because I love how it feels in comparison with any Shun, Mac, etc.. As stated in the title, this is my favorite chef knife.
