When to make apple pie...today or tomorrow?

Thread Starter
I'm making an apple pie for...you guessed it...Thanksgiving dinner. Can I make it today (Wednesday) and let it sit 'til tomorrow? Or will that turn the crust all soggy?

If your vote is that I can make it today, what's the best way to store it until tomorrow? Counter w/Saran? Frig w/foil?????

Thanks!

Yeah, you can make it today but as someone said in another thread, pie crust is best eaten the day it is made.

I would put in in the frige with plastic wrap or foil. But make sure it is thoroughly cool first otherwise it will sweat and make the crust soggy.

What about reheating? I suppose; why not?

Happy Thanksgiving!
