Growing your own

I'm placing this question here because it's more of a restaurant/chef question than a gardening one.
Which of you chefs work at restaurants that have their own kitchen gardens? And which other restaurants do you know of that have them? This could be as minimal as a few basil plants in the window.
And if so, what is grown and why (given the number of excellent farmers' markets).

Phoebe, our paths cross again :bounce:
I have my own garden and from june to end oktober i supply my restaurant from it. I do admit I'm a freak in this. It's my hobby too! But most of all i do it cause i'm 100% sure it's organic and it's a way to get rare things cheap. Vegetables and herbs that are not well known are very expensive here.
like
pineappel salvia
licorish basil
appel mint
edible flowers
tiny spring leaks
french wood strawberries
and much more.
There is a french chef, my absolute favorite chef in the world, his name is michel bras. If ever you can buy one of his books do so. It's an endless source of inspration.
