I bought my wife some Mauviel cookware at a discount store. The lining is kind of shiny. Does that mean that it is tin? If it is tin, will it get into the food? Will it affect us medically?
Are there things to consider when using tin? Are there any foods should not be cooked in it? Can we use metal utensils? Can we use steel wool to clean it if necessary?
I know these are alot of questions, but I need to know if I should return the stuff.
