Help!! the dough hook is stuck on the machine!!!! any one have any tricks to getting this unstuck!!! arrghh!

i finally resorted to an old wooden meat hammer to give the @#$% machine a few gentle love taps. this seemed to loosen the hook enough so i could remove it, the brick i'm going to use on my head for buying the stupid thing
