Truffled baby green peaches?

At Seattle's Palace Kitchen (part of the Tom Douglas group) restaurant this weekend, I ordered a seared tuna dish that came with "truffled baby green peaches" on the side. The waiter said they were from Italy and packed in truffle oil, but I doubt the latter. More that they were pickled and some truffle oil added in the kitchen--that's how they tasted. No matter though--I would KILL for a few jars of these crispy little things that were more like a crunchy olive than anything we know as fruit. Anyone heard of them, know of a supplier? I googled every possible combination of baby green peaches and came up empty-handed.

Green Peaches

I found some of those recently at Madison Market - they are amazing. You could ask their buyer where they source them. They are sold in their deli section, and were in truffle oil.

Thanks! I'm nowhere near Madison, but if they're available there then they're 'around'. Strange that I couldn't get any result from any little foofoo gourmet supply place when I googled them, though.

Truffled dwarf peaches are legit!

We used them at the Drake Hotel in Toronto under executive chef Grant Parry. They are dwarf peaches brined in truffle oil imported from Italy. I have never been able to find them at any store, including Italian specialty stores. I found an American site http://www.greatciao which listed them. Our supplier was sulpizio.com. Hope this helps.
