City with the best supermarkets?

Which city do you think has the best supermarkets? Open-air farmer's and fisherman's markets don't count.

I'm going to have to nominate Austin, TX. I know it sounds a little unlikely, but we're home to the flagship stores of both Central Market and the brand new Whole Foods. The Whole Foods is so huge it has underground parking, at least the size of your average Sam's Club and has its own in-house smokehouse.

I'd have to think that a city with a myriad of ethnic grocers would qualify, not one with a huge Whole Foods! Just voicing my preference. :)

Oh, being a New Yawker, I have to say NYC is the best. Open farmers markets with lots of fresh specialty items, great supermarkets, plenty of ethnic stores with products from any part of the world, high end markets, etc.
