Thanks for the intro. Actually, I own my own event production outfit, I've been doing it since 1998. Then in 2003 ended up a part owner in a Bar/Restaurant. That's really where the real interest began, besides experimenting at home. Although I worked mostly up front, PR, Marketing, General Administration, couldn't help popping into the kitchen 5 or 6 times a night to help out where I could. :)
Although we eventually closed, due to disagreements between the owners, too many cooks spoiled the broth...I couldn't get rid of the bug. :) The past couple of years were good so I was able to save a bit of extra cash and I finally decided to take the plunge this year.
