Here I am again, looking for new things and ideas. Anyways, I am on the hunt for pistachio butter. How is it made, where does it come from, where can I get it. The uses are endless. Pistachio butter buerre blanc, pistachio souffles, pistachio mounting ect. ect. ect. What I need is the product and some knowledge behind it. If I can't get it, any ideas on how I can make it. Thanks guys. Hope someone knows.

You would find pistachio paste from your pastry shop. Good for pastries, icecream etc.
Savory butter(similar to peanut butter) is sometimes sold in nut shops. It's easy to do even without speciel equipments. Just put roasted peeled pistachios in a food proccesor and work with salt(help get's the fat out).
