You know, the secret is that there is no recipe! :)

I just mix what looks good together! But the main ingredients are ground round, sausage, chili beans, kidney beans, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, tomato juice.....and the two kickers, my secret blend of herbs & spices and a good douse of whiskey! :D MMMmmm.....

And the salsa, well, that's my secret. :p

Red chili? That's because you have no competition. It's all green chili down there!

Just kidding. Congratulations! :)

LOL Kuan! Well, the contest is for green, red, & salsa. The green chilies are wonderful, but some of the men turn the competition into a 'who can make the hottest chile' and that's not for me!

But speaking of green chilies, you are absolutely right. That's all we have down here. In fact, I just bought a bushel of roasted chilies last night. Spent the whole night peeling skins and cutting out guts & seeds!

Maybe next year I'll expand and enter the green chile contest as well. Mmmmm......chile.........
