Phil,

I had leftover soup for breakfast today also! A roasted corn chowder with chicken, real bacon bits, potatoes, carrots, celery chicken stock, thyme, and a little cream. Sure was good.

I like the cereals at Trader Joe's like the shredded oats or shredded wheat and their selection of granolas. All much cheaper and healthier than the supermarket brands. Today it was shredded oats with sliced banana and 2% milk.

Breakfast

Hello there
Well you can vary between poridge or fruits on some days or can go for salads
For some days you can have oats also
But remember one thing your breakfast should be heathful and nutritious and dont skip it any day as it is the most important meal of the day
Have a look at the following thread from a forum to learn more about it

Six egg whites scrambled with quartered grape tomatoes and roughly chopped snow pea pods.

I love cereal- particularly oatmeal- but the carbs aren't friendly to me, even the whole grain ones.

I have been known to eat the same breakfast for years on end. But when I eat out, bacon HAS to be part of the meal! :lips:

This week, for the cooking classes I teach, we made crepes suzette.

I had leftover batter so I made one of my favorites: crepes with butter and boysenberry syrup.

I normally don't eat brekkie, but, I do love cooking breakfast for my family and friends. I usually bake some cranberry scones and cook some berry pancakes (served with bacon) for my pancake-loving flatmate and cook smoked salmon and cream cheese frittata for my parents.

cold pizza you gotta chip off the box!

.....or my personal favorite, garlic hotwater bagel, cream cheese and a stack of lox.
this is healthy. you have your dairy group, your grain group, your vegetable group-the garlic, and your lox group.
seriously, anything you can eat you can eat for breakfast. if you want an enchilada, you just go ahead and do it.:smiles:

Today, stone ground grits in a small pot, just before they're done cracked a couple eggs on top to cook. Mixed up and served with a young Florida orange juice, with pulp, from the indian river region.
