Pizza DOC is located on Lawrence east of Western Ave in Chicago. The menu revolves around pizza from a wood-fired oven, and other simple Italian fare. Prices and food are very good - the pizza with potato and rosemary was a favorite on both visits.
Service is grossly untrained. The decor is amateurish. You won't believe how the 150 watt halogen spots show off the layer of dust on the eight-foot palm that is blocking your view of the display kitchen! They could have a winner if they get it together. I hate to see a talented kitchen wit so little support in the FOH.
