I bought one of these just for making osso buco. I found myself using it for a lot more than just that. I make tomato sauce in it, chili, any excuse I have to bust it out, I do. I absolutely...

One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

Flambe Dude, I assume you mean "creme brulee". Where have you looked so far?
This site has a great search feature. I recommend it highly! If you type "creme brulee" in it, you'll find a number of threads that discuss it, and I'll bet my toque there's a recipe in there somewhere. Try this one: http://www.cheftalk.com/forums/showt...t=creme+brulee
It's not that hard to make. You just have to be careful not to bake or cook the mixture (a custard) on high heat or try to do it too fast.
I hope you'll stick with cooking. Most of us started out young and learned from the adults around us. I hope you have people like that around you! And, you can always hang around here.
