The Relleno

What's your favorite relleno?

I've been looking for one that stands out. Kind of hard because the ingredients tend to be on the subtle side, but when they balance just right I find them so enjoyable. I haven't figured out precisely what that balance is though.

I know it's often the sauce that turns me off. Too sweet, or chunky.

Chile Relleno

Hi Phatch,

I really like the classic, soufflé-battered stuffed poblanos (usually I get one cheese, and one with minced-pork picadillo) with roasted tomato-chile sauce.
