In Bordeaux, There are only five variaties of grapes that can be used to produce there wines. What are they?

cab franc
merlot
petit verdoe (sp?)

Pete you are right!!By law there are only five grapes that can be used in a Bordeaux.
Lets take it a step further. In what region would you find cabernet sav, the primary grape? And where would merlot be the star? and cabernet Franc is also the star of a region
