Good morning everyone!
To introduce myself, I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (originaly from Connecticut), just moved here with my family and am in the process of opening a Deli/catering operation here. I'm a 1978 J&W grad, have been in the business since '75, and look forward to being a part of your site!

Hey dere, Steve! We're glad you've joined us. We have plenty of caterers and hockey fanatics here (Chrose is one).

Enjoy the articles, cookbook reviews and recipes, and don't forget to sign up for the newsletter. We'll have David Joachim here soon, and that will be a conversation you won't want to miss.

Welcome, eh?

Irish Chef, I'm about 400 miles south of where you are, 20 miles west of Milwaukee. I don't know your neck of the woods at all, although I did ski in the Porcupine Mountains a few times.

Hang around here long enough and you'll probably meet someone who knows the UP and environs really well. You could always have Lou Malnati's in Chicago send you a pie!
