Compressed Yeast Substitue??????

I have a recipe calling for compressed yeast 1 ounce. All I have is Dry active and Quick Rise.Can I sub one of these for it?:confused:

You can use half the amount of active dry yeast for fresh

1 ounce of compressed yeast = 1.5 envelopes of active dry. That's about .37 ounces or about 3 1/3 teaspoons. If you to use instant (Quick/Rapid) you can us about 75% of the active dry amount.
