I just returned from Dallas where I attended my nephew's wedding. It was a very grand and upscale event at a large Westin resort in North Dallas. The food, service, orchestra and all was very impressive. But you should have seen the wedding cake and groom's cake! They were outstanding. The wedding cake was large, elegant and multi-tiered draped with beautiful fresh flowers. The groom's cake was large and chocolate, with a white choc/chocolate drawing of Okla and Texas (groom's from OKla, bride from TX), with a cascade of luscious chocolate-dipped strawberries.
But as elegant as they looked, so also they tasted, from the icing to the moist cake. They were served by the waitstaff with a glass of crisp champagne. Everyone loved it.
When I asked my nephew who did the cakes, he looked puzzled, and said, it was Panini Cakes that you recommended to us!
Well done, Jeff! Keep up the good work!
