okay im not saying it wasn't hard to get a job a couple years ago but i find that people dont care enough to go through school to get their papers and stuff like that today making it hard to live in an area that doesn't have a lot of places that can take on apprentices. I mean its easier to be an apprentice today then it was let say 15 years ago because we dont have frying pans thrown at us when we do something wrong (man some of the horror stories i have heard). Okay that may not make a whole lot of sense but this is my way of ranting on. i dont have a right to complain i guess. i currently do have a job. i mean im not the apprentice where i work but i get hours recorded for my apprenticeship hours. i just hate where i work its not going where i want my career to go and to find a place where i want my career to go is so hard when there is maybe 5 places in all of my area that are set to what i need to expand my horizions. Doed anyone else feel this way....? where there more possibilities back 10, 15 years ago then there is today... or do i just seem to live in a bad area?????
