Hi Folks. I'm new here. My wife found this site and I thought I would join because we planted a small herb garden this year for the first time and thought I might learn something here.

I bought one of these just for making osso buco. I found myself using it for a lot more than just that. I make tomato sauce in it, chili, any excuse I have to bust it out, I do. I absolutely...

One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

I've owned one of these for over 3 years now, using it daily. I've never had to sharpen (grind) it, just an occasional run along a fine steel, and it's held a wonderful edge for everyday prep....

Welcome to Chef Talk, TheBiggerBopper! Yes, you'll find a great forum (The Chef's Garden) for culinary gardening information.
I see from your profile that you drive for a living. Do you get to sample tasty treats from other areas and regions? Some of the best food stories I know come from road trips.
We hope you'l browse the forums, read the cooking articles and reviews, and try out some of the recipes. Enjoy the community!
Regards,
Mezzaluna

Yes I enjoy trying different things from all around, It's one of the things I enjoy about driving. I don't do a lot of it any more, I'm trying to cut back a little. I've been at it for 32 years and I'm getting a little old for all the hours. I've been looking around the board and it seems like a very nice forum. I think I'll be visiting a lot. My wife loves to cook and I love to eat so this would be a great forum for us. LOL  Thanks for the welcome.
