Just wanted to say hi. Obviously I'm new to these boards. Also, I'm new to the world of cooking.
Since becoming a housewife, I usually spend my time outside mowing, gardening, fixing things, etc. The hubby is the one who usually cooks. While it isn't horrible, it's just .... there. And when he tries to "Iron Chef" something, oh dear. :eek:
At the present, I can't cook. Ok, I can follow directions on a box, but that's not a big deal. I did get lucky last week when I made up a glaze (no recipe to follow, just made it up). So, I know there's hope for me yet!
I'm looking forward to learning from those more experienced and one day be able to do more than just toss a frozen pizza in the oven.
Oh yes, we don't have kids yet so I have plenty of time to practice! :lol:
