Lava Rock

I was in Chicago recently and had a dish served to me on a Hot Volcanic Rock that you cook on yourself it is super-heated, spherical lava stone. The rock is about the size of a young cantaloupe and brushed lightly with oil. I was wondering if you guys would have a suggestion to where get these or someone I would be able to talk to about this?
I googled the crap out of it but.....lol

A family member of my chef (I'm the sous) has built a nice little brewpub business around this gimmick. And has been sustaining good traffic for quite some time now.

Most of the resurch I have done turns up the flat rock...not these round ones....I just think they are soooo sexy!!!:o
