Looking for good Meat Goats

Thread Starter
I am a buyer of gourmet meats and have been looking very hard for a good meat goat supplier. So far I have found a Hallal supplier in St. Paul, MN but his supply is limited to cubes of frozen goat. I am looking for more diverse cuts for clients. Any help is appreciated.

This is probably a better place to get a good answer -- since you deal in larger quantities than most home cooks. :)

Back in the UK it was always the Caribbean restaurants that served goat - any in your area? You could always ask them.

There is a small cheese company in CO, that sells suckling pigs, lambs, and goats. They are fabulous.
I can give you am email address that will get you there...sort of through the back door. beccajames@hotmail.com

You could try talking to Majdi (Majjj-DEE') at Holyland on Central Ave. They have goat, and a built in butcher shop. Tell him that "roger the engineer" sent you! :)

I've known him for about 20 years now!

If he doesn't have it he'll probably know where to get it.
