sharpener needed for ice bits

Can anyone recommend a place to send end mill bits to get sharpened. Mine are going on 4 years and 250 ice carvings, they have suffered considerably, you would think carving ice would'nt dull a hardened steel bit. They have a compouind angle and can't be sharpened with the file. Thanks in advance.

Start talking with wood workers in your area, especially guys who turn wood--using a wood lathe. Most of them have a grinder set up to make compund bevels and grinds for their tools.

When you really start to look at them, wood turning tools and ice carving tools are quite similar.

Go see your local machine shop or the knife/saw sharpener your area.

Rat,
all good advice. Just want to tell you to stay away from the knife shop in the malls.

Wood shops

I found the busiest wood shop in the area and asked where they sent their router bits. Now I send mine with theirs about once a year.
